Join us for a memorable Family Day winter adventure! Experience the joy of winter at three exciting sites in Waskasoo Park where your family can cross-country ski, ice skate, or snowshoe while discovering the beauty of nature through engaging educational activities.
Every time you participate in an activity at one of the locations, you’ll earn an entry for your family to win a fantastic grand prize! Grab your family, bundle up, and immerse yourselves in a day filled with fun and learning. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable experience!

- Kerry Wood Nature Centre - Snowshoeing
- Bower Ponds - Ice Skating
- River Bend - Cross-country Skiing
Don’t own your own equipment? Don’t worry, you can rent some at all locations!
Rental Prices:
- Snowshoes at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre: Free
- Ice skates at Bower Ponds Recreation: $10/ages 10 & under, $15/ages 11 & up
- Cross-country skis at Riverbend Golf and Recreation: $15/youth, $22/adult
All ages welcome.
