Mandisa was discovered on American Idol. She was a finalist on the 5th season.

After American idol Mandias appeared on several talk shows and soon teemed up with Toby Mac and Kirk Franklin on Toby Mac’s album, Portable Sounds. She was signed by sparrow records and released her first album True Beauty last year. In September 2008 she came out with a Christmas album called Christmas Joy. The following year she released he next album Freedom.

Mandisa’s latest album is called What If We Were Real (2011).
