Dan Macaulay

Canadian born, and winner of Canada’s 2007 Shai Awards for “Worship Album of the Year” and “Male Soloist of the Year”.

Hanging out somewhere between the sounds of Michael W Smith and Jason Upton; Dan balances an engaging, infectious style with the leading of a pastor’s heart; effectively straddling accessible pop and passionate abandon.

Having shared the stage in the last 4 years with the likes of Avalon, Kevin Max,

Paul Coleman, Darrell Evans and Brian Doerksen, Dan is no stranger to the road. But with a heart for the local church, and as a worship pastor at his home church in Greenwich CT, USA, Dan endeavors to keep his ministry grounded and relevant; focused on serving pastors and worshippers. This is also the heart behind Dan’s weekly blog “Worship at Home & on the Road” www.danmacaulay.blogspot.com.

Written with the church in mind, several of Dan’s original songs, already sung widely, have been re-recorded by other artists who have recognized the rare pairing of congregation-friendly accessibility and uncommon depth. Most recently, Dan’s song ‘Win With Love” from “The Listening EP” was chosen by Worship Leader Magazine’s Song DISCovery® program to be included in their March/April release as a resource to their subscription base of 40,000 church worship leaders around North America.

The Listening EP received two 2009 GMA Canada Covenant Award nominations for Pop Contemporary Song of the Year for “Listening”, and Worship Song of the Year for “Amazing”.
