At age 19 he was offered a record deal, but he didn’t follow through, partially because of the spiritual turmoil he was in. It wasn’t long before Valentines day 1992 at friend’s house, he accepted Christ. He and Laura were soon married.
Meanwhile the rock band Journey broke up, lead singer Steve Perry was looking to start work on his second solo album. He heard the demo and called Lincoln Brewster out of the blue to help write and play lead guitar on the album. When he finished the touring with Steve Perry he left mainstream music entirely. He became the church worship leader for a small church in California. In ’97 he moved to a Church in Nashville. A group from Integrity Music came to work on an album and heard Lincoln Brewster’s demo. He signed with Integrity and his self-titled debut album was released in 1999. The following hear he released an album called Live To Worship. Then Amazed in 2002 and All To You…Live in 2005.
In 2006 Lincoln Brewster released a best of album called Let The Praises Ring. This was a hit. In particular a new song he recorded for the album – “Everlasting God”. That album was followed by Today Is The Day (2008). He also came out with an electric guitar Instructional DVD Lincoln Brewster Signature Solos.
Lincoln Brewster’s latest album is called Real Life (2010).
